I just made my first order and I wanted to finalize early for the vendor, but on my orders page I don't have the option.
Am i missing something? OR is there somewhere else I need to be to finalize?

You aren't missing anything. You have to wait until the vendor ships it or marks it as "in transit" before you can finalize.
The spot where is reads "processing" will say "in transit" once the vendor has sent your package (or prepped it for delivery), and to the right of that it will say "auto-finalize" with a 17 day countdown, "finalize" in bold letters, and "resolve" with a 10 day countdown.
Just wait a while and check back on your orders page. When the vendor has everything set for delivery he will mark it as in-transit.
Finalizing early is done at your own risk and you should be aware the Silk Road will have no recourse or remedy to provide you once you have released the funds.

You have to wait until the order has been placed "in transit". Then the button will appear. The seller has to do that.

So I was thinking about making an order, but I want to finalize it before I actually make the order. I want to finalize 'super' early. Is that possible?

It's not possible anymore there's a 3 day waiting period, that is also a very stupid thing to do.
Finalizing early is exactly like going out of escrow SR has no responsibility after you finalize an order.
I swear from the current crop of members i bet less than 15% have read the buyer guidelines for using Silk Road.
Has no one learned anything from USD's selective scam this week?

That was an attempt at sarcasm, people. Finalizing *before* making the order is temporally impossible. It was a commentary on the apparent eagerness of new members to finalize early. I guess I missed the mark, as is often the case.

Don't you think its a little silly to post an image on a clearnet site or anywhere for that matter showing your account? Hell I wouldn't do that with eBay let alone silkroad

Awesome we got ppl. uploading screenshots. why/! Hopefully you would have spent enough time in the forums before placing your first order to have realized nobody needs or wants for that matter, a damn screenshot to be posted in order to help you!

and if you want to get your rep up, you dont have to use FE vendors.
Try U.G.S or one. UndergroundSyndicate. But if your a scammer stay away. :o
im not for or against FE, I think sometimes its lejit, especially if the vendor has over 300 and above a 97. Its a good way to get trust going between you and a vendor too. and possibly deals down the road, just dont bitch if you dont get your goods.

I have over 12+ transactions and all good record and I still get vendors TELLING me to FE early or they won't ship. I tell them to lick my butt. Aren't we supposed to report those vendors to SR for making people FE early and if they don't, don't ship anything?
Very weird. SR puts these rules into place then a vendor thinks they can just change them because they write a bunch of info on their page? I'll never understand this.

They can only make you do that if they over 35 transactions I think...that's my understanding....
